San Pellegrino

Intro

San Pellegrino is a renowned Italian drink brand known for its sparkling mineral water sourced from natural springs in San Pellegrino Terme, Lombardy. Their drinks are famous for their crisp taste and distinctive effervescence, often served in fine dining settings. San Pellegrino also offers fruit sodas like Aranciata and Limonata and is a symbol of luxury and quality in the beverage world.

Brief

This project called for teamwork and collaboration. My team was tasked with creating eye-catching advertisements that would incite people to buy San Pellegrino products.

Design Thinking

We came up with many approaches by working with the aspects of San Pellegrino that we knew of and researched. After group meetings to exchange and develop our ideas, we settled on playing with its Italian heritage and approaching its products with a humorous approach to challenge the elitist view of the brand.

Design Making

We used Italian art that is known for being "tasteful” to capture the viewer’s attention, using the slogan “Tastefully Italian”. We censored the sensitive parts of each art piece with a San Pellegrino bottle to lead the viewers eye to the product.  This creates a double meaning with the taste of the water and the “taste" of the art. We doubled down on this boldness when expanding the work to other formats.
